Bronze-clad with gold and polychrome finish.  Measures 7” high x 6” wide x 3-1/2” deep.  Weighs 9 lbs. the pair.   Pompeian shopmark on back.  Appears in 1921 Pompeian catalog as “Literature #113.  The gold and polychrome finish on this 92 year old Roman scribe is showing its wear.  Otherwise structurally sound condition.
