“Chinese Man” - attr to J.B. Hirsch Foundry, Circa 1933. Painted gray metal with celluloid face and hands. Stands on unusual 3-colored, layered, deco marble base. Measures 9” high x 5-1/2” wide. Weighs 5 lbs the pair. Original felt on bottom of both. Bookends may have been refinished long ago. Except for some minor paint chipping, they are in excellent condition. |
