Heisey – Pouter Pigeon No. 1. Circa 1947-1949. Crystal. Heisey diamond shopmark on left side near foot above base. Royal Hickman design. Measures 6-1/2” high x 7-1/2” long. Weighs 2-1/2 lbs. Exquisite piece of glass with barely noticeable chip and scratch inside the glass under tail. Exterior is smooth throughout with no surface issues. Valued at $1,000 in 2001 edition of Heisey Glass by Bredehoft. One of Heisey’s rarest and most elegant pieces. |
