Heisey Horse Head Bookends – Circa 1937-1955. Crystal, 6-7/8” high x 6-1/4” long. These were the first of Heisey’s glass animals, supposedly designed by T. Clarence Heisey, a great horse lover. Base of the figure is ground and polished. Each bookend weighs almost 4-1/2 lbs. Fluoresces yellow under black light. Good condition consistent with age |
